Hello everyone,
I'm guessing that you chose to view this page to learn a little bit about
ThePitReport.com, so without further adieu here's a little info about us.
ThePitReport.com is an online-zine with one goal in mind: to bring new
music to new sets of ears. Around here we strive to be as diverse as
possible (while remaining loyal to our Rock roots)
The best way to describe the music we cover would be this: Imagine putting
Warped Tour, Ozzfest and the Coachella Festival into a blender and hitting
the puree button. What you would end up with would be the lovely
concoction of a wide assortment of talented bands, all of which can be
found on The Pit Report.
Now for a little historical background: We've been around since the Summer of 2003
bringing you ALL things ROCK. We work with a lot of major labels (Sony,
Interscope, Capitol, Metal Blade... etc) and pretty much every indie label
(Victory, Epitaph, Trustkill...etc) you can think of. We do this to help
promote their bands through interviews, photos, reviews, contests and
more. Why are we so obsessed with bringing you the best of the best? Well
the answer is simple. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, music and think it's extremely
important that all you lovely/stunning/wonderful people stay in the loop
when it comes to your beloved music scene. We've worked religiously on
tours such as Headbangers Ball, Ozzfest, Lollapalooza (when it was
around), Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, Sounds of the Underground and many
others. We have also created a special section of the site exclusively for
UNSIGNED bands. This section was made to promote all the hardworking bands
who deserve to get their name out into the scene, with hopes of new fans
and new opportunities. We have huge plans for the future (world domination
anyone?) and hope that you'll take the journey with us. See you in the
pit!
